Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from accredited college in Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, Materials Engineering, or related technical discipline with 2+ years of related professional experience or 6+ directly related professional experience in lieu of degree.

Experience with component drawings, Problem Reports, Change Requests, Parts Lists, test plans, acceptance testing and procedures.

Experience working with and selecting active circuit components such as amplifiers or microcircuits or FPGAs or BGAs.

Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

US Citizenship is required.

THE WORK

Daily Responsibilities Include

  • Researching and recommending parts for design in equipment, systems, and networks for defense, commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.
  • Responsible for ensuring parts selected meet program contractual requirements and RMS standard part initiatives.
  • Responsible for creating and processing component drawings, Problem Reports, Change Requests, Parts Lists, test plans and procedures, and Non-Standard Parts Approval Requests (NSPAR).
  • Responsible for facilitating and expediting drawing creation, parts procurement, and equipment assembly and test.
  • Responsible for consideration of DMS and counterfeit issues with parts and component selections.

  • Expertise working with and selecting passive components such as capacitors, inductors, and resistors for military applications.
