Staff Software Engineer (LMES) (HYBRID TELEWORK)
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other major with applicable coursework
- At least 9 years professional experience in software development
- Experience with or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
- Demonstrated ability leading cross-discipline engineering teams
- Earned value, schedule, cost, and risk management techniques experience or knowledge
- Experience with cost estimating / proposal development
- Software engineering experience, particularly with C++ and Java, and familiarity with real-time operating systems
- Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the SECRET level

THE WORK
The Staff Software Engineer will join the Launchers Software Development group reporting to the Launchers & C-UAS Engineering organization. The candidate will support the maintenance and modification of multiple MK41 Vertical Launching System software products in Moorestown, New Jersey for the Sensors, Effectors, and Mission Systems business. The candidate will be initially assigned as a software lead for a prominent launcher program, responsible for deliverables for multiple software applications in an overall suite.

The candidate should additionally be able to directly support software development activities as business conditions dictate.
The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), software configuration management, real-time embedded software development, and software integration and test.
