Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, testing, and monitoring of petroleum systems including USTs, ASTs, piping, sensors, and leak detection equipment
- Perform monthly, annual, and post-repair compliance activities (training provided for entry-level roles)
- Assist with or perform compliance testing such as line/leak testing and ATG functionality checks
- Ensure work meets local, state, and federal regulations (EPA, OPS, fire code)
- Accurately document inspections, test results, and site compliance records
- Maintain and care for testing equipment and tools
- Participate in safety meetings and follow all hazardous materials, confined space, and spill prevention protocols
What You Bring To The Table
- Valid Colorado QST Certification, Cathodic Protection (CP) and A/B Operator Certification (preferred or required for senior level)
- Experience performing compliance testing or inspections on petroleum systems
- Familiarity with UST/AST regulations and environmental compliance programs
- Familiarity with ATGs (Veeder-Root), sensors, sumps, and leak detection systems
- Experience with SIR, pressure testing, cathodic protection evaluation, or similar
- Prior experience preparing regulatory documentation and compliance reports
