About the role
Cold Spring Brewing is a leader in contract beverage production, serving customers nationwide from its state-of-the-art facilities in the Southeast, Southwest, and Midwest. This opportunity is for a Batching QC Compliance Technician who will verify and support batching kits for efficiency and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Verify batching kits for correctness and accuracy before shipment to the main plant.
- Assist with inventory accuracy for Cold Spring Brewing Company and customers.
- Coordinate, monitor, and test vendors to meet quality/compliance expectations.
- Design and enhance quality management systems to facilitate regulatory compliance.
- Serve as a liaison for compliance issues with the Batching Compliance Analyst Lead.
- Perform verification of ingredient quantities during the kit stage in the DC batching area.
- Lift up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Conduct organoleptic analysis of all supplied ingredients.
- Report any non-conformance and waste/poor conservation practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in your position and report ideas to your supervisor.
- Follow all safety requirements and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and customer portals.
- Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.
- Good reasoning, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Experience with SAP or inventory management systems preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry preferred.
- 1-3 years’ experience in a Quality environment or manufacturing environment preferred.
Qualifications
- Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations.
- Regular use of computers, writing, and filing records.
- Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. on a regular basis.
- Extended standing, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting.
- Regularly standing, sitting, talking, hearing, using hands, feeling, and reaching.
- Frequent use of computer, writing, and filing records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying physical demands.
