About the role

The Bank of Marin, recognized as one of the "Best Places to Work" in the North Bay by the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking a Compliance Support Analyst to join its Compliance Team in Novato, California.

Responsibilities

  • Provide operational and analytical support to the Compliance Department, including data reporting, internal reviews, document maintenance and research.
  • Support ongoing compliance reporting, tracking and administrative activities, including but not limited to HMDA, CRA, Adverse Action, Regulation B Earl Disclosure Notification, Collateral Insurance Tracking and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Working knowledge of FIS-IBS system
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent communication, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of State and Federal Banking Regulations and reporting requirements, including but not limited to, ECOA, HMDA, CRA, FCRA/FACTA, and Collateral Insurance.
  • Working knowledge of collateral insurance requirements and tracking processes
  • Ability to perform assigned duties accurately with general guidance
  • Ability to manage recurring tasks and deadlines with general oversight
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and schedule various tasks to ensure essential deadlines are met and take proactive action when faced with completing priorities to ensure all requirements have been met
  • Ability to effectively utilize various resources available to independently research questions, problems and alternative solutions
  • Ability to research independently to gain knowledge and or resolutions
  • Ability to understand and apply new information and concepts quickly
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment to improve processes
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management, employees, vendors and peers
  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office programs

Pay

The hiring pay range for this position is $27.54 to $37.17. In addition to the pay range listed, all bank positions are eligible for incentive compensation, which varies based on role. The pay rate for a successful applicant depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience and/or training.
