Compliance Specialist (Remote)

Key Responsibilities

• Review and annotate text, images, or audio data to identify and classify privacy-sensitive information.
• Ensure annotated data meets privacy compliance requirements, including adherence to GDPR, CCPA, or other relevant regulations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine annotation guidelines and improve data quality.
• Maintain accurate records of annotated datasets and document any inconsistencies or issues.
• Follow established protocols for handling sensitive data and maintaining confidentiality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with data annotation, labeling, or content moderation in a privacy-focused context.
• Familiarity with privacy regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, or other regional standards.
• Proficiency in using annotation tools or platforms (e.g., Label Studio, Prodigy, or similar).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured guidelines accurately.
• Excellent written communication skills for documenting annotations and reporting issues.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
