The Compliance Services Associate role at Sovos involves managing compliance workflows, ensuring regulatory deadlines are met, and assisting clients in navigating the company’s software with clarity and confidence. This position serves as a trusted resource for clients, performing tasks such as data mapping, importation, print file creation, and remittance submission.

Responsibilities

• Manage compliance workflows and ensure regulatory deadlines are met with accuracy and consistency.
• Import, reconcile, and document data according to client-specific requirements.
• Train clients on navigating and using the software effectively.
• Submit remittances to federal and state agencies accurately and on time.
• Identify opportunities to improve internal processes, increase efficiency, and reduce risk, using AI tools where applicable to streamline workflows.

Requirements

• Comfortable with core computer software and strong skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid customer service experience, with a focus on active listening and clear documentation of client needs.
• Effective communication, both verbally and in writing, with technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently while adapting to shifting priorities.
• Experience using or learning AI-assisted tools to support compliance workflows and client service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in compliance or related field.
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Skills

• Competitive base salary ranging between $45,000 and $55,000 annually.

$45,000 - $55,000 annually.
