Compliance Manager

Job Description/Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of global compliance frameworks, policies, and internal audit programs
• Proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks across U.S. and international markets
• Design and implement dashboards, risk heat maps, and KPIs to provide actionable insights to leadership
• Drive automation and digitization of compliance workflows to improve efficiency and scalability
• Partner cross-functionally (Finance, HR, Production, Logistics, Legal) to ensure regulatory alignment
• Develop and execute an annual audit plan, including reporting and remediation strategies
• Deliver enterprise-wide compliance training and foster a culture of accountability and ethical conduct
• Continuously evaluate and improve policies, procedures, and systems to enhance compliance effectiveness and cost efficiency

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor’s degree
• Required: 7+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or regulatory environments (e.g., TTB, Customs, IRS)
• Required: Proven ability to lead cross-functional compliance programs in highly regulated industries
• Required: Strong expertise in governance, risk management, and internal audit frameworks
• PREFERRED: Advanced degree (JD, CPA, CIA, or related field)
• PREFERRED: Relevant certifications (e.g., CCEP, CAMS, CRCM)
• PREFERRED: Experience with GRC platforms, audit tools, and data visualization
• PREFERRED: Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
