Major Responsibilities
- Collect, review, and validate compliance data for required inspections and surveys
- Ensure records comply with 49 CFR Part 192, applicable state codes, and company procedures
- Update and maintain compliance records in systems such as Maximo, GIS, and compliance databases
- Avoidance of data gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance issues and coordinate corrections with field and engineering teams
- Track compliance schedules, deadlines, and follow up actions to ensure timely completion
- Support DIMP related data collection, leak cause documentation, and historical record maintenance
- Maintain organized documentation and retention of compliance records
- Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve compliance questions
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required, preferably mechanical, electrical or chemical
- 0-3 years of experience in the utility or construction field, or the combined equivalent of education and experience is preferred
- Basic knowledge of federal pipeline safety regulations (49 CFR Part 192) and/or state utility regulations preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify data discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across field, engineering, and regulatory teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly
- Understanding of data integrity principles and record retention requirements preferred
