Compliance and Risk Analyst

About the role

The Compliance and Risk Analyst assists the IT Program Manager in the registration of all Application and Database Management Systems (DADMS) for inclusion into the investment portfolio. Use the IT portfolio tool to manage the compliance of Secretariat systems on all DON and DoD requirements, such as FISMA, the Investment Review Board (IRB) process, and others.

Responsibilities

• Examine options and track current investments within the IT Investment Portfolio.
• Support the creation of Business Case Analysis (BCA) for various IT options and alternatives.
• Provide metrics for evaluating the success of investments and measuring project progress.
• Conduct cost-benefit comparison analysis, including Business Process Reengineering (BPR) results.
• Develop Total Cost of Ownership metrics.
• Analyze the business impact of remaining with current technology versus migrating to replacement technology.
• Assist in managing the compliance of Secretariat systems on all DON and DoD requirements.

Requirements

• Required Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a compliance or related role.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance software.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity and ethical standards.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
