Job Description and Duties
The Enterprise Compliance, Risk, and Governance Division / Compliance Disclosure Services Unit is currently seeking an Analyst II to build compliance and ethics awareness and drive our California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) mission.
The responsibilities include:
- Knowledge of Political Reform Act, Fair Political Practices Commission, CalPERS Conflict of Interest Code, and other CalPERS policies
- Administration of a secure filing system for Statements of Economic Interests
- Reasoning logically and creatively using a variety of analytical techniques to resolve problems, provide conflict of interest analysis, prepare reports, and provide recommendations
- Analyzing data and being able to present ideas and information effectively both orally and in writing
- Consulting with and advising customers on a wide variety of subject matter areas
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Knowledge of Political Reform Act, Fair Political Practices Commission, and/or CalPERS Conflict of Interest Code
- The ability to coordinate and organize multiple initiatives and work streams
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and to multi-task and organize/prioritize workload to meet quickly changing demands
- Proven computer skills and the ability to work with multiple technology applications
