Compliance and Development Analyst Senior
About the Role
As a Compliance & Development Analyst Senior, you will provide administrative support around the Department of Insurance Complaint process for the organization. This position will be located in Madison, WI, Stevens Point, WI, Freeport, IL, or Nashville, TN, and is not a remote opportunity. Sentry does not offer employment to holders of F-1, J-1, and H-1 Visas for this position.
Responsibilities
- Track all incoming complaints from receipt through response, including complaints from Departments of Insurance, company email, social media, and telephone.
- Facilitate tracking and timely responses, report and disseminate information, and maintain a complaint database with details such as date received, due date, complaint type, responding department, and financial implications.
- Interact with department contacts to coordinate complaint responses and ensure deadlines are met.
- Communicate with state Departments of Insurance during complaint handling.
- Draft correspondence, documents, and reports as required.
- Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly complaint reports to the leadership team.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including mail distribution, filing, copying, scanning, and faxing.
- Attend team meetings to address training issues and share complaint metrics/trends.
- Assist in gathering documents for state audits.
- Maintain knowledge of coverages and state/federal regulations to ensure compliance.
- Identify and recommend technological solutions to enhance compliance monitoring and efficiency.
- Establish effective communications with internal functions, industry contacts, state insurance departments, and industry bureaus.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience in insurance compliance, product development, or a related regulatory role within the property & casualty insurance industry.
- 2+ years of related work experience.
- Previous experience with automobile insurance carriers, preferably non-standard auto insurance carriers.
- Ability to analyze and interpret relevant laws to determine compliance impact.
- Strong oral and written communication skills regarding compliance or legal issues.
- Demonstrated technical understanding of Business or Consumer insurance products.
- Previous experience as a compliance or forms analyst, underwriter, or claims/policy benefits file handler.
- Insurance course work.
Pay
Based on experience and qualifications, the pay range for this position is $61,900-$92,900 annually.
