About the role

Highland Rivers Behavioral Health provides treatment and recovery services to individuals impacted by mental illness, substance use disorders, and intellectual developmental disabilities. We are seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to work directly with the Chief Compliance Officer.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in completing monthly analyses, pulling requested data from databases, and preparing reports for the Quality Improvement and Compliance Committee.
  • Compile information for the annual Risk Management Report, Risk Management Plan, and applicable Risk Management policies.
  • Communicate with staff involved in incident reports (critical and non-serious), investigative reports, administrative reviews, and corrective action plans, including notifying of due dates, needed items, and reporting non-compliance to the Risk Manager.
  • Monitor incoming critical and non-serious incident reports daily, review for accuracy, consult with the Risk Manager, and forward reports to DBHDD as designated by DBHDD policy 04-106.
  • Review and/or submit critical incident reports (CIR).
  • Maintain an up-to-date database for non-serious and critical incident reports, including entering required data, tracking submission dates to DBHDD, and managing due dates for administrative reviews and corrective action plans.
  • Monitor and track external audits and compliance with all Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) and supporting documentation.
  • Monitor and track medical records data, developing plans to ensure timely responses to requests and purging of records within required timeframes.
  • Serve as the individual advocate for Highland Rivers Behavioral Health, responding to all individual complaints/grievances and tracking them agency-wide.
  • Chair the Individual Rights Committee, reviewing all program plans and handbooks that impose restrictions on individuals' rights, behavioral support plans, incidents of seclusion and restraint, and addressing other trends/issues concerning individual rights.
  • Serve as the paralegal for the compliance department, reviewing and assisting staff in responding to all subpoenas.
