Compliance Analyst

About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves assessing and implementing NIST SP 800-171 standards, conducting audits, and ensuring full compliance with DOD regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience with DFARS and CMMC compliance.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of client systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement NIST SP 800-171 compliance plans
- Support clients through audit preparation and response processes
- Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide strategic guidance to ensure ongoing compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into business operations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance
- Knowledge of DFARS, CMMC, and NIST SP 800-171 standards
- Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to protecting critical infrastructure
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools
- Understanding of international trade laws and regulations
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
