About the role

We are currently seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves assessing and implementing NIST SP 800-171 standards, conducting audits, and ensuring full compliance with DOD regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity and experience with DFARS and CMMC compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments of client systems to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement NIST SP 800-171 compliance plans
  • Support clients through audit preparation and response processes
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and provide strategic guidance to ensure ongoing compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cybersecurity measures into business operations

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in cybersecurity compliance
  • Knowledge of DFARS, CMMC, and NIST SP 800-171 standards
  • Experience with risk management frameworks and methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Qualifications

    • Passion for cybersecurity and a commitment to protecting critical infrastructure
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant tools
    • Understanding of international trade laws and regulations

    Pay

    Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
