Responsibilities
- Data Analytics: Coordinates data collection from multiple sources and systems to audit and monitor compliance with a wide variety of state and federal regulations and applicable policies.
- Performs data analysis, summaries, tracking and trending reports for communication with staff, leadership, committees and others.
- Act as a resource in statistical application and capture of data that is valid, reliable, and quantifiable. Appropriately utilize random sampling and data collection methodologies.
- Audit and analyze data from the organization’s electronic health record and billing system when appropriate.
- At direction of manager support the Compliance Program in developing and reporting compliance metrics for system-wide benefit.
- Acts as a subject matter expert to educate and counsel management team and others on data interpretation and feedback. Guidance from the Compliance Analyst is given particular weight and importance.
- Develop and organize special outcome studies, analyze the findings, and report the results.
- Aid in completing special focused audits and analytic requests designated by management.
- Aid in researching and answering questions related to subject matter being audited.
Requirements
- Two years healthcare compliance or privacy experience.
- Prioritize two years of experience in compliance, auditing, monitoring, data collection, analysis, trending and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related fields.
