Compliance Analyst
About the role
Proactively identify areas of risk to ACN regarding ethical and legal practices in accordance with ACN’s Policies and Procedures. Must have sound judgment and independent decision-making skills to facilitate investigation and case closures. Ability to confidently communicate case decisions to Independent Business Owners (IBOs) and Customers.
Responsibilities
- Audit, analyze, and monitor online sales (IBO) marketing activity, addressing concerns.
- Preemptively analyze business organizations for fraud, manipulation of the ACN Independent Business Owner compensation plan, gaming, and overall unethical activity.
- Use analytical skills to review data sets daily, weekly, and monthly to identify business trends.
- Work simultaneous investigations requiring extensive research and summary of findings.
- Own investigation process through adherence to established processes and procedures.
- Provide education and ongoing training to Independent Business Owners in accordance with ACN Policies & Procedures.
- Hold independent business owners accountable for unethical activity if broken policies are identified within an organization.
- Stay current on MLM industry regulations to better identify online violations that could negatively impact ACN.
- Analyze customer complaints and conduct necessary investigations to determine the best solution.
- Work efficiently and quickly respond to regulatory complaints regarding practices and actions of IBOs.
- Independently work cases in a variety of areas involving unethical and/or fraudulent behavior.
- Demonstrate excellent follow-up skills (must take initiative to ensure all challenges are properly resolved).
- Create and maintain accurate records of activity in the Case Management System.
- Remain current on all guidelines established by Management.
- Demonstrate urgency to monitor and adhere to established timelines for regulatory and escalated case types.
- Handle escalations and disseminate relevant findings.
- Independently manage 50+ case investigations of varying degrees of consequence.
- Daily communication with Independent Business Owners and Customers via email, letters, and phone.
- Enforce and support ACN’s position when reviewing marketing materials.
- Review, analyze, and use deductive reasoning along with case management systems to determine if new cases should be opened, worked within SLAs, and if IBOs should be trained on respective trends.
- Collaborate and maintain strong rapport with all ACN vendors to satisfy ACN and Vendor compliance requirements.
- Review, update, and validate the integrity of all processes and procedures required to fulfill the needs of the Business Ethics team.
- Work collaboratively with the ACN legal department.
- Contribute collectively to the onboarding and training of new team members.

Qualifications
- Experience operating multiple systems for tracking all issues from creation through resolution.
- Experience in Excel, Access, or Power BI.
- Internet proficiency, including a strong understanding of social media platforms.
- Proficient knowledge and application of Microsoft Office software.
- 2+ years in an analyst or compliance-related position required.
Working Environment
Onsite employees—as a condition of employment with ACN, Inc., you may be required to work onsite at our designated office or facility. The standard expectation is to work onsite, though temporary remote work arrangements may be granted on a case-by-case basis.
Typical office environment, Monday through Friday during the hours of 8 A.M. to 5 P.M.
