Responsibilities
- Management of patients both acutely and longitudinally
- Gaining experience in prescribing and managing a range of systemic immunomodulatory and immunosuppressive medications
- Teaching residents both in clinical settings and in formal didactics
- Mentorship in education
- Engaging in research and publishing
- Mentoring and support in launching investigative work
- Care for the most challenging and complex patients in dermatology, including inpatient consultative dermatology and outpatient advanced medical dermatology
- Collaborative complex medical dermatology outpatient clinics
- Independent outpatient medical dermatology clinics with close mentorship
- Inpatient dermatology consult service with evolving responsibilities over the course of the year
Requirements
- An M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Completed dermatology residency by the fellowship start date
Qualifications
- Active engagement in teaching residents
- Experience in managing complex medical dermatology cases
- Interest in research and publishing
- Ability to mentor and support in launching investigative work
