Role Overview

This position involves serving as a Nursing Faculty member dedicated to guiding nursing students through their educational journey, fostering their development into competent healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentoring, role modeling, and providing academic support to students.
• Delivering engaging instruction using diverse methodologies to achieve learning outcomes.
• Participating in curriculum assessment and continuous improvement activities.
• Maintaining scholarly activities and contributing to professional growth.
• Utilizing innovative technologies, including Simulation and Innovation Labs, to enhance learning.
• If involved in clinical education:
  • Assuming full responsibility for students in clinical settings.
  • Clarifying clinical expectations and coordinating with facility staff.
  • Assessing student performance for safety and quality care, providing immediate feedback, and aligning clinical experiences with theoretical content.

Qualifications & Skills

• Master's degree in Nursing and valid professional nurse licensure.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care and at least one year in the relevant teaching field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and online learning management systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards, including state, federal, and local laws and nursing boards.
