Overview

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani, a national law firm with offices in all 50 states, has an opening for an attorney in its expanding Cleveland office. Candidates must have 2-5 years of substantial litigation experience. We offer flexible options for successful candidates, including fully remote, hybrid and full-time opportunities.

About the Role

This position will focus on complex commercial litigation, class action, and employment litigation. We have garnered national recognition for our demonstrated commitment to the recruitment, retention and advancement of qualified female and diverse attorneys. Candidates must have an excellent academic background, proven skills in writing, analysis, and research, and be a self-starter who is able to handle important aspects of litigation with limited supervision. A proven track record that includes sophisticated motion or appellate practice and depositions is strongly preferred. Additionally, a commitment to superior client service is essential. Trial experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must be licensed in Ohio.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex commercial litigation, class action, and employment matters
• Prepare and argue motions and participate in trials
• Conduct legal research and write persuasive briefs
• Handle depositions and manage discovery
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement litigation strategies
• Provide superior client service

Requirements

• Licensed in Ohio
• 2-5 years of substantial litigation experience
• Excellent academic background
• Proven skills in writing, analysis, and research
• Self-starter with ability to handle litigation with limited supervision
