Complex Director of Finance job

Responsibilities

• Evaluates the financial impact on business decisions.
• Promptly notifies management of financial deviations and control weaknesses.
• Manages and communicates cash flow issues to management and ownership.
• Accurately prepares and reports cash-flow statements, manages receivables, and ensures timely deposits.
• Maintains accurate and timely financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Crescent Hotels & Resorts guidelines.
• Investigates and critiques variances to budget or prior year, offering improvement strategies.
• Ensures property compliance with regulatory licenses, permits, leases, and contracts.
• Assists management in enforcing compliance with all items.
• Coordinates the completion of forecasts and budgets, actively participating in the EC Team and department managers.
• Analyzes financial data and operations to assist management in maintaining financial objectives.
• Maintains compliance with all report deadlines and due dates.
• Participates in M.O.D. coverage as required.
• Attends meetings and training as required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 8 years of related progressive experience in hotel accounting or a combination of a 4-year college degree with an accounting/finance concentration and 4 years of related progressive experience.
• Or a 2-year college degree and 6 years of related progressive experience.
