About the role

Katten, a global Am Law 100 firm, is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its Dallas office.

Responsibilities

• Experience drafting near ready-to-file documents such as pleadings, motions, and discovery responses
• Ability to manage case files and tasks
• Strong research, analysis, and writing skills
• Experience with depositions and trial preparation activities (preferred)
• The desire to gain meaningful stand-up courtroom experience (preferred)
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrate sound judgment
• Take ownership of case responsibilities

Requirements

• Qualified candidates will have 3-5 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a nationally or regionally recognized law firm
• Be admitted to the Texas State Bar

Benefits

• The estimated salary range for this role is $270,000 - $385,000
• Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to: relevant experience and work history, graduation and class year, and practice area of the selected candidate
