Competitive Pool Technician | Part-Time| Greensboro Aquatic Center
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of pools by testing water chemistry.
- Record and report any variances or issues to the full-time Pool Technician.
- Vacuum and brush all pools to maintain cleanliness.
- Understand and be able to respond quickly and appropriately to fecal incidents requiring immediate action and following precise procedures.
- Clean surrounding equipment and rooms by scrubbing, shining, and pressure washing gutters, handrails, steps, diving apparatus, lifeguard chairs, decks, locker rooms, etc.
- Report any maintenance issues.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- 1-2 years of pool technician experience preferred.
- Must be able to swim 25 yards unassisted in deep water.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects.
- Must have knowledge of standards and health codes for swimming pools.
- Current CPO certification a plus.
Pay
This role will pay an hourly rate of $15.00-$17.00.
