Compensation & Equity Specialist

Job Summary

The Compensation & Equity Specialist supports the execution of compensation and equity programs. Key responsibilities include market pricing, compensation cycles, and day-to-day stock plan administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Complete market pricing and compensation analyses using survey data and other relevant sources.
• Support analysis of salary structures, pay ranges, job levels, and market competitiveness.
• Maintain compensation-related data, including salary structures, pay ranges, job profiles, and job architecture records.
• Support annual compensation cycles, including salary adjustments, promotions, budgeting, modeling, and data validation.
• Prepare and submit compensation survey data, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Update job and compensation data in Workday.
• Maintain data integrity across Workday and related systems to support reporting, audits, and compensation processes.
• Prepare and process equity award transactions in the stock plan system (Equiniti), including grants, vesting schedules, releases, cancellations, and other stock plan activity.
• Review and validate participant tax jurisdictions, withholding rates, and equity-related taxable events to support accurate payroll reporting.
• Prepare global payroll file inputs for equity-related income, taxes, dividend equivalent payments, and withholding resulting from stock plan transactions.
• Respond to employee stock plan inquiries, including questions related to system access, award information, vesting, releases, and dividend equivalents.
• Prepare equity reports and reconciliations for Accounting, Payroll, Legal, HR, and external service providers.
• Aid in preparation and review of equity data used to support Form 4 filings, proxy disclosures, and other reporting requirements.
• Cook with internal partners and external service providers to support timely and accurate administration of global equity programs.

About You

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant compensation, equity administration, HR, finance, or related experience.
• Experience with Workday Compensation; Advanced Compensation experience preferred.
• Skilled in analyzing and summarizing data using Excel.
• Demonstrated interest in using AI tools to improve processes, reporting, and analysis.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• CCP or CEP designation preferred or in progress.
