Responsibilities

  • Aid in the implementation and administration of compensation programs and systems, including merit, market, and equity analyses across the healthcare system.
  • Participate in compensation surveys.
  • Support job description development and job evaluation processes.
  • Contribute to compensation programs to enhance Nuvance's ability to recruit, motivate, and retain talented employees.

Financial/Budget

  • Conduct ad hoc market assessments and provide cost-effective recommendations.

Project Management

  • Participate in Total Rewards team initiatives impacting associate compensation as needed.
  • Recommend streamlining and continuous improvement opportunities.

Compliance/Governance

  • Ensure accurate reporting and compliance with all applicable laws and regulations regarding compensation.
  • Assist with Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) exemption tests to ensure appropriate status.
  • Keep abreast of legislative changes and anticipate their impact on the hospital system.
  • Provide recommendations to mitigate risk.
