About the role
Brown Brothers Harriman is recruiting a Compensation Analyst to join their HR Compensation team. The Compensation Analyst will support firm-wide compensation activities including year-end reporting, promotion program management, and market pricing analytics.
Responsibilities
- Year End Compensation: Responsible for year-end reporting, preparing materials for the Senior Executive Committee, ensuring accuracy of source data, and maintaining web pages for the compensation system.
- Promotion Program: Help manage the BBH promotion program, create compensation increase recommendations, analyze data, and prepare reports.
- Compensation Analytics: Identify needs for reports, assist with ad hoc analyses, and support Senior Executive meetings.
- Market Pricing Analytics: Manage employee and survey uploads, lead on the survey submission process, and partner with vendors for custom reports.
- Project Management: Lead and participate in compensation-related projects, including program design and implementation, and external benchmarking studies.
- Pay-Equity and Gender Pay-Gap Analyses: Complete ad-hoc requests and support pay-equity and gender pay-gap analyses.
- Other: Support broader HR initiatives and represent the Compensation function.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
- 2-3+ years of experience in compensation, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Advanced knowledge and application of Excel (pivot tables, v-look ups, graphs, scenario modeling).
- Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to solve routine and complex problems independently.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Experience with compensation year-end salary and bonus cycles.
- Experience leading projects and using project management discipline.
Preferred Tools
- Working knowledge of Workday.
- Progress towards CCP or other HR certification.
