Compassionate On-Call Aid

About the Role

This community member is working alongside Community Horizons to find a patient and empowering helping hand. If you take pride in helping others and enjoy providing 1/1 compassionate care, you could be a wonderful fit. This member uses a wheelchair and Hoyer Lift. She enjoys music, games, and intriguing conversations about life. She also has a dog-friendly home and cares for backyard chickens.

Responsibilities

• Transferring with Hoyer Lift
• Light meal prep
• Assistance with bathroom routine
• Occasional driving and van hookups (training provided)
• 1/1 companionship

Schedule

• ON-CALL
• Weekdays: flexible PM hours (typically 4-6 hours)
• Weekends: flexible hours, AM & PM (typically 5-6 hours)
• 95.75 shared hours per week

Pay

$22 per hour, Part-time
