Description

The Insurance Sales Apprenticeship Program at Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual company, is a 6-month structured program aimed at preparing participants for a successful career in insurance sales. Participants will gain foundational knowledge of various insurance products, obtain necessary licenses, and build consultative sales skills through hands-on experience.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop knowledge of auto, home, life, and specialty insurance products
• Obtain required insurance licenses (company-supported)
• Shadow and partner with Sales Managers and Sales Agents
• Conduct customer needs analyses to identify coverage opportunities
• Absorb and assist with prospecting, outreach, and lead generation activities
• Support quoting, proposal development, and new business processing
• Build relationships with prospective and existing clients
• Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) to manage customer interactions and pipeline activity
• Participate in community events and networking to promote the Comparion brand
• Develop and execute prospecting and Centers of Influence (COI) strategies

• Organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to learn new systems and technology quickly

The typical starting salary range for this role is determined by a number of factors including skills, experience, education, certifications and location. The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role.
