About the role

The applicant will perform police and security duties, and enforce the rules and regulations of CarolinaEast Health Center while protecting and serving the visitors, patients, staff, and faculty.

Responsibilities

• Perform police and security duties
• Enforce the rules and regulations of CarolinaEast Health Center
• Protect and serve visitors, patients, staff, and faculty

Requirements

• Understanding of North Carolina criminal law and procedures
• Completion of 20 hours of in-service training per year
• High school diploma or GED
• Valid North Carolina driver's license
• No criminal record
• Basic Law Enforcement Training Graduate
• Telephone
• Mentally and physically capable of meeting North Carolina Criminal Justice Standards for Police Officers
• Clear voice and exceptional hearing ability for telephone and radio communications
• Able to quickly climb five flights of stairs in response to codes

Skills

• Knowledge of North Carolina criminal law and procedures
