Companion-Patient Safety

Responsibilities

1. Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
2. Report any unusual incidents.
3. Remain with assigned patient at all times.
4. Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency, escalating for the appropriate response.
5. Aid with ambulation, toileting, and transportation.
6. Perform direct patient care duties as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
7. Conduct duties in accordance with established policies and procedures.
8. Document in the electronic medical record.
9. Engage in ongoing educational activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience.
