Position Specifics:Department: Sales Supervises: NoneLocation: Homestead, Florida Purpose:Sells new and used equipment available to the sales professional with a specialized focus on Compact Construction Equipment Responsibilities: oProfessionally represents the company while building sales relationships with current and potential customers in the defined sales area oWork together with other sales staff and departments when specialist knowledge is necessary oMaintains current product knowledge on features and benefits of all equipmentoMonitors competitive activity and products and timely communicates to management accordinglyoMaintains all customer information in assigned territory for sales management oKnows and follows the defined sales process of the companyoMaintains assigned company vehicles and equipment oAssists with the preparation and execution of customer events and trade showsoConducts equipment field demonstrations oMonitors trends in customer’s business activities and timely communicates to managementoMaintains current knowledge of financing options to assist customers with securing the purchase of new and used goodsoAttends applicable sales training events, seminars, and meetings Requirements: oKnowledge of equipment operational practices preferred oAbility to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functionsoAbility to communicate professionally on the phone, in person, and through emailoAbility to work flexible hoursoExcellent customer relationship skillsoAbility to analyze and interpret basic sales reportsoHigh School Diploma or equivalent work experienceoOutgoing personality and self-motivated
