Community Turn Maintenance Assistant (Temporary)
What You’ll Do
- Support customer service efforts by providing exceptional assistance to current, future, and past residents.
- Aid in the unit turnover process, ensuring apartments are ready for new residents.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of both interior and exterior areas of the property, proactively identifying and reporting issues.
- Examples of tasks include:
- Picking up litter and debris from the grounds.
- Watering plants, flowers, and shrubs to maintain landscaping.
- Cleaning and maintaining swimming pool areas.
- Sweeping, blowing, or pressure-washing breezeways, parking lots, and common areas.
- Provide support to the office team by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and assisting with lease execution and move-in paperwork.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
Where You’ll Work
The Village of Meadowview is an off-campus student apartment community in Boone, NC, conveniently located just 5 minutes from Appalachian State University and Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. Our student living community is also only a few streets away from plenty of shopping and dining. The Village of Meadowview offers 2 and 3-bedroom floor plans for rent. Our off-campus student apartments feature private bathrooms, high-speed cable and internet included, a full-size washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and plenty more!
What You’ll Own
- Achieve exceptional assistance to current, future, and past residents.
- Participate in the unit turnover process, ensuring apartments are ready for new residents.

- Contribute to the cleaning and maintenance of grounds, including picking up litter and debris, watering plants, flowers, and shrubs, and cleaning and maintaining swimming pool areas.
- Assist with the office team by greeting prospects, conducting tours, and assisting with lease execution and move-in paperwork.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
What You’ll Bring
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write fluently.
- Basic computer skills for completing assigned tasks.
- Physical ability to frequently walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift/move loads up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working with ladders.
- Reliable transportation and the ability to live within 30 miles of the property.
