Responsibilities

  • Support 4 individuals with Autism moving into a new home
  • Develop opportunities for individuals to be part of their local community
  • Provide positive role modeling and mentorship
  • Prepare and implement program goals, individuals' service plans, progress notes, and treatment plans
  • Nurture positive relationships with individuals, families, guardians, and service providers
  • Ensure appropriate healthcare, medical, and dental needs are met and promote healthy lifestyle choices

Requirements

  • One year experience working in the human service field (internships and volunteer opportunities can be substituted)
  • Possession of a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License
  • Preference given to candidates with direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Caregiver must be compassionate, creative, self-starter capable of working independently and as part of a team
