Community Supports Leader

About the role

Aspire of WNY is seeking a Community Supports Leader in the Buffalo area to provide direct leadership for Community Based Supports. The role ensures people with developmental disabilities have opportunities to make choices, develop, participate in the community, maintain good health, secure a personal future, and experience relationships.

Responsibilities

- Supervise support staff. - Develop and write customized support plans. - Provide training opportunities for support staff and/or service participants. - Document and manage financial responsibilities.

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services, Social Services, or Health-related discipline. - One year experience working with children/youth. - One year supervisory experience with individuals with developmental disabilities. - Valid NYS Driver’s License.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated ability to lead and supervise support staff. - Experience in developing and implementing support plans. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.

Skills

- Leadership and supervision skills. - Knowledge of developmental disabilities and support services. - Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Pay

$19.85 - $23.82 per hour
