About the role

Community Support Specialists provide mental health support in clients' homes and communities, walking alongside clients in their recovery journey. This role offers unique learning opportunities through care planning and case management.

Responsibilities

  • Walk alongside clients in their recovery journey
  • Be an integral part of a client's growth and recovery
  • Connect clients with resources and help them navigate complex systems
  • Drive clients to appointments and assist with daily living tasks
  • Adapt to clients' schedules, needs, and treatment plans each day

Requirements

  • Effective communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong writing skills
  • Good time management and organization
  • At least 21 years old
  • A valid driver’s license, current car insurance, and daily access to a car
  • Willingness to provide transportation to clients

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate and 5 years of supervised clinical experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or related field
  • Bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 2 years of supervised clinical experience
  • Master’s degree in psychology, Social Work, or related field
