About the role
Under the direction of the Director or Deputy Director, a Community Supervision Officer (CSO) exercises mature and independent judgment in response to the responsibilities of the Courts of Orange County, the Department, and the probationer.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a caseload of mixed cases (Felony and Misdemeanor) in a manner consistent with standards promulgated by the Community Justice Assistance Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and as envisioned by the Director of the Department.
- Conduct presentence investigations.
- Maintain accurate case records.
- Perform other job-related duties as directed.
