Community Services Support Worker - Timber Creek
About the role
The Community Services Support Worker provides personal, physical and emotional support to aged care and NDIS clients, helping them with daily living activities and improving their wellbeing and independence within the community.
Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on support with daily living activities
- Aid with personal care, meals, transport, and domestic tasks
- Support clients' physical, social, and emotional wellbeing
- Build positive relationships with clients, families, and the team
- Complete reports and maintain accurate records
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Requirements
- Criminal History Check (recent within 3 months)
- A current Working with Children’s Card
- A current unrestricted and valid Driver’s Licence
- A Current First Aid Certificate (Essential or willing to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (desirable or ability to obtain)
Qualifications
We are seeking two caring and motivated support workers with a passion for aged care and a commitment to providing culturally respectful support. You will bring a caring, respectful, and supportive approach, experience or interest in aged care, disability, or community services, good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, respect for cultural values and diversity, and commitment to safety, confidentiality, and quality care.

$32.29 per hour plus superannuation contributions and remote area allowance.
Schedule
25 hours per week (Monday to Friday).
