Community Repair Technician

About the role

At Novellus Clairemont, you'll play an important role in keeping our community comfortable, safe, and welcoming for residents, families, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic repairs and general upkeep throughout the community
• Auxiliary tasks include painting, light plumbing, equipment maintenance, and preventative maintenance projects
• Respond to maintenance requests and help maintain a safe environment for residents and staff
• Keep common areas, resident apartments, and outdoor spaces in excellent condition
• Support safety initiatives, inspections, and emergency preparedness activities

Requirements

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Six months of hands-on experience in maintenance, construction, landscaping, facilities, automotive, or another related trade preferred
• Trade school students, recent graduates, and candidates with transferable skills are encouraged to apply
• Able to work in a physically active role, use maintenance tools and equipment, and lift up to 45 pounds

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
• Able to communicate effectively in English
