About the Role

We are looking for the right person to sell the Highgate brand platform to potential residents and their family members. We specialize in assisted living and memory care. Highgate Senior Living's mission is to devote ourselves to help each resident live a life of purpose and each of us plays a crucial role in doing so. We operate communities in the western US and are seeking the right Community Relations Coordinator to join our team as the primary seller of our assisted living and memory care lifestyle.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales process
  • Help new residents move in
  • Plan and implement marketing events
  • Know the competitive environment
  • Conduct tours with prospects
  • External business development

Requirements

  • Organized and detail-oriented individual with a positive and self-motivated attitude
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Relationship building, persistence, flexibility, and adaptability
  • Proficient in MS Office suite and able to learn database management software
  • Strong ability to sell intangible products and/or services
  • Capacity to develop strong working relationships and work through influence
  • Strategic thinking to understand market dynamics, the effect of competition, and pricing strategies
  • Financial acumen to assist in generating revenue and managing marketing spending
  • Capacity and tolerance to understand and accept metric based performance coaching
  • An understanding or the willingness to gain an understanding of the various forms of dementia and how residents with dementia can continue live with purpose

Qualifications

  • At least 21 years of age
  • At least 2 years in direct selling sales roles
  • Sales or marketing education is a plus
  • Current negative TB test
  • Ability to initiate contact and conversations with people
  • Ability to pass criminal record/background check
  • Willing to work some weekends and/or evening hours
  • Valid driver’s license with a qualifying driver abstract
  • Be efficient and exercise good time management skills
  • Must be able to work well independently with little oversight
  • Must have a track record of top-notch organizational abilities and communication skills

Pay

The annual wage range for this position is $52,000 to $70,000 per year plus a performance-based commission and bonus plan that can be up to 40% of base wage.

Schedule

This position includes some weekend and evening hours.
