Community Relations Coordinator

About the role

The Community Relations Coordinator is responsible for promoting Keiser University in the community as well as focusing on area high schools. The objective is to book and conduct in-class presentations, attend college and career fairs, and attend community events. This is accomplished by advising prospective students regarding Keiser University's programs, policies, and procedures. The role involves planning and implementing student recruitment strategies, programs, and related activities, as well as managing and conducting recruitment efforts for an assigned geographic area. The Coordinator develops relationships within the community to increase Keiser University's visibility.

Responsibilities

• Book and conduct in-class presentations
• Attend college and career fairs
• Attend community events
• Advise prospective students regarding Keiser University's programs, policies, and procedures
• Plan and implement student recruitment strategies, programs, and related activities
• Manage and conduct recruitment efforts for an assigned geographic area
• Develop relationships within the community to increase visibility

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience in customer service or career counseling (preferred)

Schedule

Full-time position requiring day, evening, and weekend availability. Travel to local high schools, career fairs, and community events is required.
