Objective
The Community Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for ensuring achievement of employee recruitment objectives. Achievement of growth is to be generated from a variety of activities, including researching and pursuing new applicant referral sources and enhancing and maintaining relationships with existing community organizations. This position requires a relationship builder.
Responsibilities
- Reflect the core values of Buckskin 903 Ventures, LLC, d.b.a. Home Instead, an independently owned and operated franchise of Home Instead, Inc., an Honor Company.
- Responsible for researching and developing organizational relationships and recruiting applicants.
- Achieves applicant generation objectives with the primary goal of bringing in additional caregivers to increase client capacity and elevate quality of care. Target relationships include, but are not limited to churches, not-for-profit organizations, community events such as farmers' markets, local colleges, etc.
- In conjunction with Home Instead franchise leadership, develops recruitment plans, detailing weekly and monthly activities focused on meeting or exceeding established goals.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Home Instead brand. Effectively presents Home Instead marketing materials and services to referral providers, including 1:1 meetings, as well as planning, arranging and conducting formal group presentations to employee referral providers.
- Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activities including calls; presentations; and follow-up activities.
- Develop a database of qualified applicants in Indeed and ApplicantStack from referrals through face-to-face, email, telephone and Web.
- Manage recruitment ads and post positions as necessary.
- Check in frequently with leads within the applicant tracking system.
- Cross-train with other office positions to create continuity, co-worker appreciation, and leadership opportunities.
- Demonstrate open and effective communication with the franchise owner, colleagues, Care Pros, clients and family members.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Conduct client/Care Professional introductions as needed.
- Participate in various PR strategies.
- Participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects, and co-workers.
- Schedule and conduct applicant interviews in an efficient and professional manner. Following the Home Instead Standards; conduct reference checks, criminal background and motor vehicle check and drug screens on all Care Pros.
- Monitor, mediate, and log all client and Care Pro activity utilizing the software system.
- Provide input on all orientation and training materials as needed.
Education & Experience
- College degree required or equivalent work experience.
- Related business experience.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.

- Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by Buckskin 903 Ventures, LLC, d.b.a. Home Instead an independently owned and operated Home Instead franchise.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively.
- Must have the ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information and meet deadlines.
- Must have the ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills is essential as well as sound judgment and good decision-making.
- Must demonstrate discretion, integrity and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies and procedures.
- Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly work.
- Must have the ability to establish good working relationships with office colleagues, the franchise owner, clients and the community.
- Must present a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Must have the ability to operate office equipment.
- Must have the ability to operate HISC technology systems.
- Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel.
- Must be able to work evenings or weekends as required.
