About the role
Burlington Capital Properties is seeking an experienced and motivated Property Manager to lead the daily operations of Highpoint Apartments in Omaha, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the community
- Hire, train, supervise, and develop onsite team members
- Foster positive relationships with residents, prospects, vendors, and team members
- Oversee leasing, marketing, resident retention, and customer service efforts
- Maintain occupancy goals and property performance
- Conduct property inspections and ensure community standards are maintained
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention
- Monitor expenses and ensure adherence to budget guidelines
- Prepare reports and maintain financial accountability for the property
- Coordinate vendor services and oversee contractor performance
- Respond to resident concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Lead the onsite team to achieve operational and financial goals
- Participate in company meetings, training sessions, and conferences as required
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of Property Manager experience
- Demonstrated team leadership and supervisory experience
- Strong leasing, sales, and resident retention background
- Excellent customer service and resident relations skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency with computers and property management technology
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic financial, budgeting, and bookkeeping knowledge
- Experience with RealPage property management software
- Experience managing capital improvement or renovation projects
- Experience overseeing multifamily housing communities
