Community Planner

About the role

The Community Planner will support dynamic project teams, conduct public engagement activities, create GIS maps and graphics, and prepare plan documents. They will work collaboratively and autonomously as conditions require.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in community/urban planning or a closely related field from an accredited university
• 1-4 years of experience in a planning capacity
• Strong knowledge of and experience with computer programs (GIS, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office programs, InDesign)
• A great attitude towards teamwork, curiosity, initiative, and taking on new challenges

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in community/urban planning, landscape architecture, architecture, or a closely related field
• AICP certification
