About the Program
The Troy School District partners with local businesses to develop programs that stimulate student career interest and success. These strategic partnerships provide quality work-based learning experiences, such as internships, to introduce students to careers.
Business Roundtable
The Business Roundtable brings together local businesses for quarterly meetings with the Troy School District (TSD). Participants engage in discussions about industry needs, provide feedback on TSD’s strategic goals, and explore ways to enhance educational benefits for students. The program fosters collaboration, critical thinking, and robust support networks to advance academic excellence and community engagement in Troy.
Business Council
The Business Council is a platform for local business leaders to connect with the Troy School District (TSD). Members receive updates on TSD’s developments, initiatives, and strategic plans while networking with other prominent businesses. The council meets semi-annually, offering opportunities to engage with district leaders and influential business figures to discuss educational needs and partnership potential.
Career Accelerator Program (CAP)
The Career Accelerator Program (CAP) is a pre-internship opportunity for high school juniors and seniors, bridging academic learning with real-world professional experiences. The program provides mentorship and exposure to diverse career pathways through specialized classes and a 20-hour pre-internship component. CAP prepares students for future challenges and opportunities by offering an elite educational experience.
