Community Partnerships & Mobility Programs Coordinator (Volunteer)
About LoopRoots Foundation
The LoopRoots Foundation is a growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to removing barriers for individuals and families through transportation assistance, housing and reentry support, workforce development, youth services, survivor services, and community-based initiatives. As we expand across multiple states, we build innovative transportation solutions that increase access to employment, education, healthcare, and long-term stability.
Our mission is to remove the physical, financial, and emotional barriers that prevent families from maintaining meaningful connections with incarcerated loved ones, accessing mental health care, or navigating reentry. Founded in 2025, we operate nationally with an initial focus on underserved communities in Maryland, Arizona, Pennsylvania, New Mexico, California, and Virginia. Key initiatives include:
- LoopConnect: A ride credit sponsorship platform providing free or subsidized rides to prison visitation facilities.
- LoopTalk: A HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy program offering trauma-informed mental health care to justice-impacted individuals and caregivers, including children.
- LoopTroop Rideshare Partnership: Collaboration with the LoopTroop Rideshare platform to ensure families have access to safe, reliable, and culturally competent transportation services.
We are committed to using community-based, technology-enabled tools to restore dignity, promote healing, and reduce generational harm. All programs are offered without discrimination to build a supportive ecosystem for families across the U.S.
