We are seeking a Community Night Patrol Team Leader to lead and support a team of Community Night Patrollers in delivering a safe, effective, and culturally appropriate service that makes a real difference to the community This position sits within the Community Safety and Wellbeing program in Timber Creek For a full detailed description click here Why You'll Love This Role As the Community Night Patrol Team Leader, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of children, families, and the wider community. This is a rewarding leadership role where no two nights are the same, and your contribution will have a direct impact on community safety and wellbeing What your day will look like, but are not limited to: Leading, mentoring, and supporting Community Night Patrollers.Coordinating nightly patrol activities and service delivery.Promoting child safety, wellbeing, and positive family engagement.Managing incident reporting, statistics, and administrative records.Monitoring vehicle and equipment use and reporting maintenance needs.Building strong relationships with community members and partner organisations.Providing guidance and de-escalation support in challenging situations. The Ideal Candidate Profile We're looking for a confident and community-minded leader who is passionate about creating safer communities and supporting positive outcomes for children and families. The ideal candidate will be a respected role model who can lead by example, build strong relationships, and remain calm and effective in challenging situations. You Will Bring Experience in community services, community safety, or a related field Experience leading or supervising a small team.Strong understanding of Indigenous communities, culture, and local contexts.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.Sound recordkeeping and administrative abilities.A reliable, respectful, and solution-focused approach. Certificate III in Community Services (or willingness to obtain) Other Requirements Criminal History Check (recent, within 3 months).A current Working with Children’s Card (Ochre Card).A current unrestricted Drivers Licence.
