Monroe Group is seeking a seasoned Community Manager to oversee a large Family affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring and developing their team, positively interacting with applicants, residents, and teammates, and is a strong problem-solver. We value dynamic leaders who can motivate teams, are proficient in financial and variance reporting, and share our commitment to customer service.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a dynamic team
• Develop and manage the budget
• Ensure the property meets KPI goals for occupancy, collections, compliance, asset, and budget management
• Submit necessary weekly/monthly reporting
• Ensure site teams deliver safe, decent, and sanitary housing to all residents
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree preferred)
• Minimum of two (2) years as a Community Manager
• Working knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
• Ability to pass a full background check
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in affordable housing programs
• Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections
• Experience with resident-occupied project renovations
• Background in PBS8 and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and property management software

Pay

$65,000–$70,000/year

Schedule

Monday–Friday (occasional weekends and evenings as needed)

Location: Raleigh, NC
