Community Manager - Monarch Ridge Apts.

Monroe Group is looking for a seasoned Community Manager to oversee a large Family affordable Project Based Section 8 (PBS8) community. The ideal candidate enjoys mentoring and developing their team, positively interacting with applicants, residents, and teammates, and is a strong problem-solver. We seek a dynamic leader who is fully competent with financial and variance reporting, marketing-savvy, and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and Property Management-related software.

About the role

Community Managers are fully accountable for providing overall supervision of the community, enhancing the value of the property, and ensuring the property team is positive and successful.

• Leading and mentoring a dynamic team
• Developing and managing the budget
• Ensuring property meets KPI Goals for Occupancy, Collections, Compliance, Asset, and Budget Management
• Submitting necessary weekly/monthly reporting
• Ensuring site teams deliver Safe, Decent, and Sanitary Housing to all residents
• Performing all other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (College Degree preferred)
• Minimum of two (2) years as Community Manager
• Working Knowledge of OneSite or Yardi Software
• English language proficiency (read, speak, and write)
• Ability to pass a full background check
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong experience in affordable housing programs
• Participated in Management and Occupancy reviews and UPCS/REAC Inspections
• Experience with resident-occupied project renovations

$70,000/year

Schedule
