INNOCEAN USA is a full-service ad agency located in Huntington Beach, CA, seeking a Community Manager to join our KIA team. This is a long-term, ongoing, contract role in a hybrid workplace (3 days per week in-office). Candidates must be local to Southern California.

Responsibilities
- Be the day-to-day social community manager for KIA America, publishing content on the brand’s channels and representing the social voice of the brand
- Distill conversations happening across all social channels to identify key posts and emerging trends – opportunities for the brand
- Work with Kia brand team, as well as across disciplines, to ensure a holistic, connected brand focus
- Report on both performance of KIA content in social space, as well as larger trends, consumer sentiment, and competitors
- Build audience within platform, plan and develop shareable content, participate and build relationships directly with fans and influencers, keep the community engaged, and provide ongoing metrics tracking and optimization recommendations
- Demonstrate an understanding of client campaigns and associated goals; work closely with Account and Strategy team to ensure that all questions are addressed, and all relevant campaign materials are obtained
- Maintain a pulse on social media trends, conversations and culture
- Prepare reactive engagement opportunities
- Participate in live engagement moments; lead virtual “war rooms” as needed
Requirements
- 1+ years in community management or social media management experience
- Demonstrated experience of using social media in personal or professional setting
- Experience with social media tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, Sprinklr, Emplifi, Netbase and/or Digimind
- Ad Agency experience is a plus
Skills
- Insatiably curious, results-motivated, and creative in all aspects of our client’s business
- Understanding of social media and the online space
- Proficiency with key social platforms including TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest and Snapchat with a solid understanding of each platform's core features, as well as a technical understanding of each network's advertising capabilities
- Ability to create and execute detailed social posting calendars, including campaign planning, content descriptions and posting copy direction
- A power-user of all the major social networks and always the first to discover and experiment with emerging platforms
- Ability to stay current with, and share an insightful POV on the competitive automotive and non-automotive social media landscape

- Self-motivated and well organized with a strong attention to detail

- Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communications skills

- Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks

Pay
The compensation range for this role is $24 - $26 per hour. Pay is dependent upon several factors including but not limited to: client, experience, training and/or transferable skills.
