Community Manager for "The Thing"

About the role

The Thing is an onchain sentiment-analysis application that helps users identify top influencers and Telegram channels. Users can create customizable Telegram bots and AI agents that surface high-quality trading setups based on the day’s narrative.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily testing of The Thing’s platform components, bots, and onchain analysis functions; immediately report any bugs or performance errors to your direct supervisor.
• Respond promptly to community inquiries on Telegram and Discord; share roadmap updates and assist users with onboarding.
• Create short educational videos explaining The Thing’s components and bots.
• Participate in group calls, Twitter Spaces, and Discord voice chats with $PGPT token holders and the global crypto community.
• Travel to conferences and community events at short notice.
• Assist with other ad-hoc and housekeeping tasks as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience successfully managing crypto or blockchain communities (Discord, Telegram, Reddit, Twitter/X, etc.) is mandatory.
• Perfect English is required; knowledge of Russian or Turkish is a plus.
• Confident public speaker comfortable presenting on behalf of the company and participating in business negotiations when needed.
• Willingness to stay online outside conventional working hours—crypto operates 24/7.
