Community Manager
About the Role

As a Community Manager at Skybird Manor, you will lead a team, manage financial responsibilities, and ensure operational excellence while fostering positive relationships with residents and owners.
Responsibilities
- People Leadership
- Lead a team of leasing agents and maintenance professionals to ensure a highly engaged team provides a great experience for residents.
- Process community staff payroll.
- Financial Responsibility
- Ensure collections of all monies due to the community (e.g., rent) are received and deposited.
- Process community invoices for payment.
- Purchase and maintain adequate supplies for the community.
- Community and Resident Focus
- Maintain acceptable levels of occupancy (minimum 98%).
- Maintain positive relationships with the community owner(s) and residents.
- Review rental applications for approval.
- Operational Excellence
- Complete move-out paperwork according to governing regulations.
- Perform unit move-out, annual, and housekeeping inspections in a timely manner.
- Audit all resident files to ensure they are complete and correct prior to forwarding to supervisor for review/approval.
- Timely completion of reports required by government agencies, administrators, or the Company.
- Maintain the community to Company standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Experience: 1+ year previous experience as a residential property manager, with HUD / Section 8 experience a plus. Alternatively, 3 years of experience in a general manager position or similar role with exceptional people leadership and process management experience.
- Education: High School diploma required; associate’s degree is a plus. Certifications such as COS, LIHTC, HCCP, or AHM are advantageous—opportunities to obtain these will be provided.
- Dependability: Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
- Resident Focus: Commitment to providing exceptional service to residents.
- Operational Excellence: Deadline-driven with a keen eye for detail, compliance, and quality.
- Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office suite; experience with Yardi is a plus.

Pay
$50,000–$55,000 annually, plus benefits.
Schedule
Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM.
